I guess you could say we tried. We actually beat ourselves. We won two good games in the beginning of the series, but then something went very wrong. Either the Avalanche got better or we were overconfident. I'm pulling for the latter. They weren't playing with the same intensity after game two.
Well, the main thing that we have to do now is keep the team together if we want to win a cup next year. Today, we lost Ranford to waivers. We also may lose Nicklas Lidstrom next season, which would be a huge loss to the team. I hope we can keep the team together and reclaim OUR cup next season.
