Tara Lipinski Timeline!

Age 2 - Tara sees her first Olympics on TV.
Age 3 - Tara goes rollar skating for the first time.
Age 6 - Tara goes ice skating for the first time.
Age 9- Tara wins gold at the Rollar Skating Nationals!
Age 12 - Tara places 2nd at Novice Figure Skating Nationals, and passes both the Junior and the Senior Tests. She also becomes the youngest athlete ever to win the Olympic Festival, at 12 years, 3 weeks.
Age 13 - Tara places 3rd at Nationals and competes in her first Worlds at the Senior level. Although she doesn't skate well in the short program, she gives us a taste of what she's made of. (But who thought that she would be World Champion next year???!!?)
Age 14 - Tara becomes the Youngest National Champion, and later wins the Worlds to become the Youngest World Champion ever.
Age 14 - Tara becomes the first and only (so far) woman to land a triple loop-triple loop combination in competition.
Age 15 - Tara wins GOLD at the Olympics and becomes the Youngest Olympic Champion (youngest yet again!).
Age 15 - Unfortunatly, Tara gets sick and can't go to Worlds to defend her title. Get well soon, Tara!
Age 15 - Tara decides to leave the amateur world and become a professional skater. Good luck Tara!
Age 16 - June 10, 1998: Happy Birthday Tara!
