Woo Whoo! I'm an uncle! Andrew Jon Shanahan, was born to Mike and Lenore on Tuesday, July 24th 2001 @ 11:55am in Madison, Wi. 7lbs 2oz. 21in. Every is healthy and doing well at home now. I'll have pictures up as soon as I get some. Which brings me to my next thing. I'm sorry for the delay of update on this, but I'm working on a redesign of the site, Coming real soon! So tune back in.

Hello Everyone! Again I'll start out with the May Birthday wishes to my Aunt Pat 5th, best friend Troy on the 22nd, and girlfriend Laura on the 27th . A few new things have happened, I took a leave of absence form work and may be returning in a few weeks. I just need some time to catch up on school, work on my portfolio and resume. I need a breather. Also I am looking into starting a web design company or just do so freelancing. I can't think right now I'll let you know if there is anything new I can think of.

Although I did start playing softball with a team from my work (Like I needed to add anything to my schedule!). Its fun and it gets me out of the house and out of the computer world. I play after school on Wednesday nights. Work and school, same ol same ol. I still would like some feed back on this site, would you like you page on the web site? Just let me know.

Happy New Year! Oh my where did the year go! Once again sorry about the slow update. Had a great Thanksgiving at Moms, ate a wee bit too much. Christmas came up so fast, hope everyone had a great Christmas, I sure did. It's a nice to have time off, thanks goodness I have school off util January 8th. I'm not too sure what I'll be doing for New Years. Work is going alright I'm hanging in there. Well next time you hear from me, I'll another year older the big 2-5, half up the hill, a quarter of a century. Oh my...

Wow it’s November! Not like I had to tell you all. Well October came and went, Thanksgiving is just a few days a way, mmm can’t wait to fill up my belly and take a nice nap!

Let’s see what I did last month… went to When Bands Attack at Coors Amp. It was put on by Rock 105.3 and you can check out picture at their website www.rock1053.com.

I aslo went to Vegas last week; saw George Carlin (very funny), stayed at Luxor, tried some fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts (They are good doughnuts, but over hyped). I had great time. I need more time off its soo nice!

Well, other than that I’m just trying to stay slightly sane with work and school. I’m sure I’m missing a bunch of exciting things, but I can’t remember.

Whew! October all ready? Well, I did it, I’m done with my Saturday classes, woo whoo! I have been pretty busy as usual last month. Not to sure if anything exciting last month… well I can’t think of too much right now. I am not too sure what I’ll be this year for Halloween, but I don’t think I’ll beat mine from last year. *Entry Date: 9/5/00* Wow, I really don't know what happened to August! Whew! Let me think...hmmm...Still plugging away at school, only 3 more Saturday classes. My last Saturday class is October 7th, woo whoo! Work is all right, same old same old. Mike and Lenore came out for a quick, whirlwind visit. I was very glad to hit the beach with them for a couple of days. Although time didn't allow for us to The Field, but there's always next time. Sunday the 3rd Troy and I had our 4th Annual Labor Day Bash at the Bay. Everything went great and it just keeps getting Bigger and better. Well it went so fast I can't think of much else right now, but if I do I'll put it in later.

Hello family and friends! Whew! Where did July go? Well it went so fast I’ll have to dig into my head to remember what happened.

Well all I remember right now is a couple of concerts. The 1st one was at the L.A. Coliseum. Metallica, Korn, Kid Rock, Powerman 5000 and System of a Down. That was one crazy concert with bad sound system that kept cutting in and out. In between Korn and Metallica the crowd got bored. So the section right above decided to starting throw’n things, lemon wedges, beer, full water bottles, popcorn, salsa, nacho cheese (which left a glob of cheese on my hat). The section below us started throwing the stuff back. Wow! We were in the middle of a huge food fight. It was still fun.

Then this past Saturday I saw Mr. “Weird” Al Yankovic. It was a great, fun, very entertaining show. He’s very talented and so funny. He was constantly going the whole show!

Other than that, just plugging away at school. Not much new all I do is work, school, sleep and eat.

Hello everybody! Well it's time for the monthly update. It's been a busy and quick month, so here's the low down! June 11th Laura and I ran in the Liberty 4 mile fun run/walk over the Coronado Bridge. It was for Freedom from Domestic Violence. You can check out the results here. Into my 4th week at school and I'm already learning a ton. Saturday classes are harsh 9am-2pm. 3 down, 12 more to go, whew! Can't wait for those to be over! So far it seems to be worth the investment. I'll put up my projects on the site When I finish them.

Went to the fair on the 16th and ate, and ate, and ate. Bought more garlic seasonings, yummy! Other than all that I've just been a hermit trying to save money for school.

Celebrated Laura's birthday on Saturday, we went to dinner in La Jolla and then joined up with some friends at the Comedy Store for some laughs (Great show!). Sunday had the annual Truck and Shanny's Bon Fire (good turnout). Then I just took it easy on Memorial Day.

It’s been about a month since the last update, so I better write something. I couldn’t fix the guest book to work, so I’m trying out the Message Board system, so sign it and tell me what you think.

Well, celebrated Margie’s birthday earlier this month, had fun. Boy, where did the time go! Still checking into school, it’s such a huge commitment I just need to be sure I’m ready for it. I taking day by day so I’ll see what happens.

Had Easter at Margie’s also with Mom and Sam, Aunt Lynn And Uncle Lee, Margie and Harold, Laura and I. Everyone had Easter ham, but Laura and I had veggie burgers. I know it not traditional but I never really liked ham.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the slow update, just been a bit busy. Went to Wisconsin to surprise my brother, in the beginning of the month. (I think shock is more like it.) Lenore (his wife) help plan the surprise visit; everything went perfect. I had a great time and the weather was great mid 60’s-70’s.

Yesterday was my mother’s and grandma Brady’s birthdays. Went over to Margie’s and had some Tommy’s Burritos and a great coconut cake. Mom was feeding Klondike (Margie’s cat), cake at the table.

Checking into school at TAAC (The Advertising Arts College), in Mira Mesa. It specializes on computer graphics. Going to talk to a financial aid officer tonight to find out what kind of free money I can get. I going to start with an 8-month certificate in graphic designs and then expand from there. I can go on from there and get a 2 or 4-year degree. We’ll just see what happens

Hello everybody! Not too much has happened lately, but I’ll fill in some detail. I went through a two week Bartending course at National Bartending School in Mission Valley. I had a ton of fun making fake drinks. (They use colored water, so we couldn’t taste our drinks). I passed with flying colors, we had a written test w/150 questions and a speed test. (12 drinks in 7 minutes) I received 100% on the written and 5:20 plus a 30 second penalty for forgetting a garnish. I need to fill out some applications soon before I forget all those drinks I learned. That's all I can pull out of my brain right now.

It's the big new year, 2000! It all worked, with no major problems. Now what do you do with all the stocked up food and supplies? Donate it to a needy charity.

Well, now what? I'll keep nipping away at school and keep saving money to go to a real school. Sorry for the slow update, but it's been crazy at work and I just got plain sick of computers!

Well, what can I say? Thankgiving has come and gone. I had a wonderful time at mother's, playing tripoly till midnight. (Thought I was in Vegas for a while!) I've finished my classes at Mesa College.

Well Christmas is almost here. I still need to shop, DOH! I'll try to write more when I can, but work is pretty busy for me right now.

Well I got back from Ireland September 26th. I had an AWSOME time. The people were great, real friendly and honest. The landscape was, of course, very green and beautiful. Everyone needs to make a stop over there. Who knows if things work out just right, I may move over there in a year or two. (I'm not kid'n!) I'm working on getting the pictures scanned. (Six roles! and 3&1/2 hours of video tape) I'll give a more in depth story once the pictures are up.
