Jefferson 14, Herndon 9

Nate Whitaker scored five goals and three assists and Spencer Smith added four goals to lead Jefferson to a 16-8 win over Bishop Ireton.

Jefferson overcame a sluggish start by outscoring the Hornets 6-1 in the third quarter to win their first Concorde District game of the year.  The TJ attack unit came up big, combining for 11 goals in the contest.

Centreville 21, Jefferson 4

The Colonials couldn't slow down the Centreville offense.  Trailing 11-4 at halftime, the Colonials lost standout defender Chris Carr to injury.  The letdown was obvious as the Wildcats reeled off the next ten goals.

West Springfield 8, TJ 7

Jefferson jumped out to a 7-1 lead with 13 minutes left in the game, but collapsed in the fourth quarter.  Spencer Smith and Jeff Donlea each contributed three goals and Danny Miller was strong in goal.

Jefferson 15, Edison 3

In a driving rainstorm, Jefferson dominated the Eagles, outshooting them 54-15.  Nate Whitaker dominated face-offs, giving the Eagles few opportunities to rally.

May 1

Jefferson 13, Woodbridge 5

Spencer Smith tied the Jefferson record for goals in a game with 7 as the Colonials rebounded against Woodbridge.

The Colonials held Washington & Lee to just four total shots while setting a team record with 85 shots.

Annandale 10, Jefferson 5

The Colonials led 5-4 early in the third quarter, but the fatigue of four games in seven days began to show.  Nate Whitaker led the attack with three goals and Danny Miller made nineteen saves to keep it close.

April 14

Oakton 14, Jefferson 10

Despite 44 shots, Jefferson couldn't keep the Cougars off the scoreboard.  Jeff Donlea led the way with 5 goals and Spencer Smith added 4 to pace the Jefferson offense.  Unfortunately, the game saw the Colonials lose junior midfielder Steve Henry to a serious knee injury.
