On May 31 and June 1, 1999, Caitlin, Naana, and Paapa were guests of the wonderful folks at Champions On Ice for their performance in Phoenix, AZ. We arrived in Phoenix in the morning and were chaufered to the resort that the performers were staying at.We then spent the afternoon at the rehearsal for the show, and finished the day with special rink-side seats at the performance. For those of you who know Caitlin and her affection for figure skating, this was a day she will never forget. We cannot in a million years express our gratitude to Mr. Collins, Ms. Plage, and all the wonderful people at Champions On Ice. A special thank-you to Michelle Kwan, Todd Eldredge, Liz Punsalan, Jerod Swallow, and Rudy Galindo who went out of their way to make Caitlin feel welcome. A bigger thank-you to Lynn and Grant for putting up with us. And a huge thank-you to Liz Manley who really devoted every free second to making Caitlin feel special. Thank You All So Very Much.
