THE ADDED SCENE

This scene between Biggs and Luke was originally cut from the earlier edition of A New Hope. For the Special Edition version, it was reinstated to add a new dimension to Biggs' death during the trench run. Unfortunately, Lucas decided against including an earlier scene with Biggs when Luke visits Anchorhead. That scene can be viewed on the "Behind the Magic" CD-ROM by Lucasarts in the 'Lost Scenes' area of the program.

Biggs, Luke & Red Leader:"Hey Luke! Biggs!! I don't believe it!! How are ya?! Great!! Hey - You comin' up? I'll be right up there with you and boy do I have stories to tell you....Skywalker...Are you sure you can handle this ship?
