THE COVER-UP 
Before the shooting of Empire Strikes Back, Mark Hamill was involved in a car accident that required he have plastic surgery. Due to the difference in his appearance afterward, the film opens with Luke being hit in the face by the Wampa, so as to account for his changed look.
Luke:"Echo Three to Echo Seven...Han, old buddy - D'ya read me?"
Han:"Well, don't get all mushy on me - So long, Princess!"
Leia:"I'd just as soon kiss a Wookie!"
Han:"Then I'll see you in Hell !"
C-3PO:"Stupid little short circuit!"
Han:"...And I thought they smelt bad...on the outside!!"
Han:"Good Morning! Nice of you guys to drop by!"
Han:"You
look strong enough to pull the ears off a gundark!"
Han:"I think ya just can't bear ta let a gorgeous guy like me outta your sight!"
Leia:"I don't know where you get your delusions...Laser Brain...."
Han:"Laugh it up.....Fuzzball....."
Han:"But you didn't see us alone in the South passage...She expressed her true feelings for me..."
Leia & Han:"Why you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy looking....Nerf-Herder! Who's scruffy lookin'??"
Han:"Musta hit her pretty close to the mark to get her all riled up like that, huh?"
Leia:"Well, I guess you don't know everything about women yet..."
Hobbie:"Two
fighters against a Star Destroyer?!" 
Imperial Officer & Captain Needa:"Sir...Rebel ships are coming into our sector....Good. Our first catch of the day!"
General Veers & AT-AT Driver:"Distance to power generator? One, seven decimal two, eight..."
THE CUT SCENE
In an early draft of the film,
C-3PO runs past a sealed room where the Rebels have caught a number of Wampas.
3PO tears off the sign, and a squad of Snowtroopers rush in to meet their
deaths.
C-3PO:"How Typical!"
Han:"Hurry up, Goldenrod...You're gonna be a permanant resident!"
Leia:"Would it help if I got out and pushed?"
C-3PO:"Sir...Might I suggest that you - It can wait."
Han:"This baby's got a few surprises left in her, sweetheart..."
Han:"C'mon...Come
on! Switch over....Let's hope we don't have a burnout!"
Han:"Punch it !"
Luke:"We're going to the Dagobah System."
