Tailgating

Hello once again,

Sorry its been so long since my last column. A lot has been going on in my life. I must say that OAFS' future looks great (I saw the plans). Hockey is starting soon and football just kicked off. As I'm writing this McGwire is looking for 62. Sports in general is in full swing. This is possibly my favorite time of the year. There are a million things buzzing. McGwire of course, everyone is talking about their hometown or favorite football team (unless you live in or around Philadelphia), and Hockey's about to start the 19th I believe.

Look at the newsletter and pay special attention to the AFC East. The standings are diverse, but there are only 2 points separating the highest scoring team from the lowest. That's pretty close competition. I believe I took part in the first ever tie, for the fantasy football league. Its odd that once we implement a tie breaker system there is a tie. There's so much going on right this second I don't know what to talk about.

Speaking of the a lot going on, I have a lot going on right now. I have obtained a new job, in sales. Between that and school my time is limited. I know that Jeff is able to maintain his leagues and balance school and work, but I don't know if I will be able to do the same. I'm looking for volunteers to help out in the league. I will be responsible for rosters and trades, I'm just looking for people to help out with the scoring. Not many just one or two people who will be willing to help out. I don't want to take anyone's time who already is in a crunch. So only if you have time. Also it would require a lot of work during the Christmas season.

As for the members of OAFS, I wish you all the best of luck in your individual sports. Also I wish you the best of luck Craig over at Drexel University (home of the Dragons)

Yours Truly,

Mike
