How Al Capone was Important to the 1920's

Al Capone was proof of the problems of our countries government.  He murdered many people 
and was involved in the murder of many others yet, when brought to jail it was on charges 
of income tax evasion and the misdemeanor of failing to file tax returns.  He was sentenced 
to ten years in federal prison and six months in county jail.  In addition he had to serve
another six months for failing to appear in court.
