Angelo

About Angelo

G'day!   My name is Angelo.  I am three years old. According to my Tatay, I look like my Mama, but all my Tita(s) don't agree with it.  They say that there is no doubt I look like my Tatay dahil hindi na raw kailangan ng DNA testing to prove that I am his anak.  Sabi pa nga nila, kapag hinahalikan daw nila ako e para daw nilang hinahalikan ang Tatay ko.  (Sabay Pwe!)  Kamukha ko kaya talaga ang Tatay ko?

My Tatay calls me makulit.  I don't know why!  I just do what a normal three year old boy does. I like running around the house and bringing down everything along my way.  I like to climb our table so I can look outside the window and yell at people passing by.  I like jumping on the bed and pretending it's a trampoline.  I enjoy doing it with my Ate Isabelle too - on their own bed.  I like playing with my basketball, and I like throwing it to my Tatay's face.  I like to ride my bike wild inside the house and I don't care if I run over my Tatay.  I like painting and drawing.  One day I had so much fun with my colour pens.  I showed my drawings to my Mama but, she seemed not very happy with it.  She said, it would be much better next time if I can use a paper rather than our bed sheets, pillow covers and blankets.

Oh, yes!  I like clicking and flicking on our computer.  Whenever my Tatay puts it on, I always step-in and get him out of the way.  I would hit the keyboard here and swing the mouse there.   Computer is cool!  One day, I was thrilled to see my Tatay jumping up and down like a "chook".  And then I saw him packing our computer and taking it out of the house.  He said he needs to bring it to the shop for a repair.  Palagay ko nasira ko yung computer!

I love the word "NO".  It was the first word I ever said clearly.  Each time my Tatay would say;  "Get down from the table, Angelo!"  I would say, NO.  "Please eat, anak!"  I would say, NO.  "Wag malikot, anak!"  I would still say, NO.   "Please finish your milk, Anak?"  NO pa rin.  Then my Tatay would say; "Okay, don't drink your milk!"  (ala reverse psychology)  Big NO pa rin ang sagot ko!  But when my Tatay say, "No more watching Sesame Street if you don't drink your milk."  (medyo galit na, atsaka malaki na yung butas ng ilong)  Then I would say, "Okay."   Of course, I will drink my milk so I can watch Sesame Street.   I am a good boy, though I misbehave sometimes.  But guess what?  I love my Mama and Papa.  And I know for sure...  they love me too.
