Miles Simon: 97 NCAA Final Four MVP

When asked "Who is your national college player of the year?" Digger Phelps replied:
"I love Miles Simon. If he was playing in the east, there would be a feast. Because they're out west, nobody thinks they're best. He's to the NCAA what Michael Jordan is to the NBA playoffs. When under pressure, he comes through as a leader. He didn't come back for a defeat; he came back to repeat. They would love to reset with Kansas and Duke in the final four in San Antonio since they lost to both teams in December. He's a catalyst that you can't control as an opposing coach. That's the same as Jordan with the Bulls."
