This is the first season for the Pubsters on the internet and we are looking
forward to an exciting season. We have our Roster of current players and
even include our "Retired" players. You can see the origins of our nicknames
on the roster page. The Season Schedule will keep you up to date on our games.
And, no softball team should be without their own press. So, after the games,
you can see the commentary. We'll have special guest columnists to give highlights
of every game. Of course we'll also have the stats for the team - just so everyone
can see how "bad" we really are! Finally, we plan to start our awards page
as a part of the stats page. That
will be up as soon as the first ballots come in. Every season we'll add to it.
And, finally, we are compiling our Softball poems and stories - great diatribes
of the heroes of our sport, the accolades of fans, the hecklings of our teammates (some content is adult in nature - we'll warn people).
If you have trouble with some of the vocabulary we use, we have a Pubsters Glossary to
interpret our language. We hope you enjoy the site and the excitement of softball!
