Biggest Dual meet in Big Nine Conference History

October 5, 1988

At Powers Catholic

Powers Catholic 4, Grand Blanc 3

Sooner or later it had to come to an end. After dominating the Big Nine Conference in girls' tennis, Grand Blanc saw it's dynasty come to an end when Powers Catholic, under the direction of Hall of Fame coach Doug Adams (pictured above/right) defeated it 4-3.

The Chargers' triumph, which was Grand Blanc's first loss to a Big Nine opponent, ended the Bobcats' Big Nine record 98-match unbeaten streak
