*Denotes that Sue Schupack took over Carman-Ainsworth's team at 8 a.m. May 8, 2003 (the day of the Big Nine tournament) when Cavaliers athletic director Bob Root suspended coach Doug Carey for the remainder of the season. Carey was suspended for a series of behavioral problems that showed a lack of responsibility in directing the team. He was officially removed from his coaching position in June of 2003.

*At the beginning of the 1994 season, the Big Nine Conference did away with its 2/3-1/3 system of determining its overall league champion in favor of a 50-50 system. Before 1994, the conference duals counted 2/3 towards the overall championship and the season-ending tournament counted 1/3. Since 1995, the duals and season-ending league tournament each count 50 percent towards determing the overall league champion.

**Mick Faulman, who returned to coach Grand Blanc in 1989, started the streak in 1991. Tony Whitt took over in 1995 and then handed over the reigns to Randy Wise in 1996. Wise retired at the end of the 2002 season and passed the torch to Mark Swanson. Swanson resigned mysteriously just days before the Bobcats first practice of the 2003 season. Ryan Michelson and Mike MacVay were hired as coaches when Swanson left the program. The streak ended when Carman-Ainsworth beat Grand Blanc 6-2 on April 16, 2003. Carman-Ainsworth's coach was Doug Carey, who was suspended and then fired for a series of behavior problems that showed a lack of responsibility in directing the team.

***Lynn Freiheit started the first streak in 1973. Freiheit, who is still the only Big Nine boys' coach to win State Coach of the Year honors (1979), left Grand Blanc to take the head tennis job at Oral Roberts University at the conclusion of the 1978-79 school year. Mick Faulman, who played for Freiheit, took over for his former boss in the spring of 1980. Grand Blanc's first streak came to and end when it lost to Flushing 4-3 on April 22, 1980.

#Carman High's 20-match Big Nine win streak ended with a 4-3 loss to Grand Blanc on May 4, 1984.

%Flushing's 19-match Big Nine win streak ended with a 5-2 setback to Owosso on April 13, 1982.

    ^Grand Blanc's last loss was a 6-2 setback to Carman-Ainsworth on April 16, 2003. It's last non win was a 4-4 tie with Carman-Ainsworth on April 20, 2004.

^^Grand Blanc last non win was a 4-4 tie with Carman-Ainsworth on April 20, 2004. Ryan Michelson and Mike MacVay started the streak in 2005 and handed the reigns over to David Clement in 2006.
