Hegh Family, Ormondville - Information is being sought on Alexander Hegh and his wife Elizabeth Lille Hegh, who once lived at Ormondville. Alexander operated a delivery-type run from an unknown sawmill behind Ormondville, perhaps a timber wagon. This is thought to have operated in and out of Ormondville. The couple's children attended Ormondville School around the turn of the century. Elizabeth died on 6 January 1923 and was buried in Block 1, Section 84, at Ormondville Cemetery two days later, Rev. Whibley presiding. Alexander disappears after a reference to him in the New Zealand Almanac in 1924. Allan Cameron is the family contact. This item last updated: 12/3/2001
