I have been very fortunate to watch Bobby ride for years. I have been extremely fortunate to watch him excel at the Tour de France. Bobby is super talented (and if you have read any of his email from his web-site, super determined)
I am sad to say that I have lost some of the earlier negatives of Bobby. Those that remain are out of focus and do not do Bobby justice. I want to do Bobby justice by presenting only the best photos.
The 1999 season has come and gone. Bobby's goals may not have been achieved, this year, but the mind is willing and the body is able. Look for Bobby in Green this year at Credit Agricole. Despite initial fears of C.A. not being at this Tour2000, they have already been pre-selected as one of the first 17 teams. Look for a great 2000 Tour from Bobby.1999 Tour de France -

It was with such pride that I was able to watch Bobby climb and time trial with the best of them!
- Stage 18 - Cote de la Vattay - Bobby lead Ullrich up the climb.
- Stage 20- ITT tearing it up at the 400 meters to go.
- Stage 20 - ITT just a few later as he passes me.
- Stage 21 - Appearing through the lens.
- Stage 21 - Passing by the lens. A few seconds later I cheer for Bobby. He looks around to spot me in the crowd and gives me a big smile and a big thumbs up.
