Hello I am trying to find any of the decendants of Augustus and Mary Barnett (Nee not known). Augustus came from Blandford In Dorset and Mary came from the St Pauls area of Bristol. Augustus was born about 1844 and Mary was born in 1845. They had seven sons; they were William b1868, Augustus b1870, Charles b1872, Thomas b1874, Alfred b1876, James b1878 - d1916,and Joseph b1880. Augustus and Mary moved to London after being married in Birmingham sometime around 1866.They settled in Islington for the first few years and then moved on to Shipton Street Hackney in 1881, but may have lived there before that. William, Augustus and Charles were born in Islington - the others were born in Shipton Street. James was my grandfather and he was married to Sarah Ann Bodley. Sarah was not of the Jewish faith therefore James' parents did not approve of the marriage. From that moment on James never saw his family again. He was killed in the 1914 -1918 war.
