We believe that when boys choose soccer they are making a legitimate choice: A choice to participate in a lifetime sport A choice to play a sport where they make decisions A choice to play the world's most challenging sport in terms of a combination of strength and aerobic fitness A choice to play the world's favorite game A choice to not do the expected, to not follow the crowd Nothing learned will be more valuable than how to make intelligent choices... If we don't allow these legitimate choices, we are failing our young men.... |
