I am King Gareth Emerikol,of the Kingdom Emerikol(em-err-a-kole),the largest kingdom in the lands of Yar.
Yar is a young world,as according to our recorded time....the year....475. not in a time prior to yours but perhaps in a time following. Makes no matter....I am here to give a quick tour of Yar; Please feel free to use the several teleport spells laying around to transport you other regions where other residents of YAR will guide you and regale you with many a tale of heroism, bravery and the occasional chivalric deed!
In my kingdom, there are many cities, towns, and villages. we have taken in the former Kingdom of Apothecary, which included the large prison. And in it the riff raff of all of yar....well thats my burden to bear.
The Largest city in Emerikol, and also in Yar is the port city of Xenon(zee-non). Xenon is the life and heart of Yar.All shipping and supplies route through Xenon. If you cant find what you are looking for in Xenon....you wont find it.
My home, in Castle Emerikol, located at the summit of Hell Mountain, was recently built. It is still being completed...you know new homes...always something left to do!I moved into the new place a few years back...giving the old castle to the people of the village that had arose around the keep.
There are several castles within the borders of Emerikol....some in ruins, some still occupied. Castle Mistamere, now lay in ruins,it was once the capitol of Apothecary.Just a few miles to the west lies Castle Kerstey,a small castle that houses a clerical college of sorts. It was formerly known as Castle Willow, owned by a close friend of mine...Mathias Macleod, mage. He taught young mages the white arts of magic,'tis sad, alas he was murdered several years ago...and left his prodigy, Ian Kendall, in charge of the school. Ian recently completed work on a grand castle north of Emerikol,on Crystal Lake. This being of course...Castle Willow....Gotta love that waterfront property!
Well south of Mistamere castle, in the thick of the Granite Mountains is Granite Castle.Built right in the pass of the mountains,it served to protect and serve the hamlet of Glastonbury.
Starting to the west of my kingdom...lies the smaller kingdom of Raven. King Sean Raven,a very young king, has recently assumed the throne, after the death of his father Edward Raven. He has a lot to learn and is going through his baptism of fire.(as did I in my youth;which I will delve into later!)King Raven rules his kingdom from Ravenloft Castle,a small castle that has seen the wear and wars of many years...not to mention the occasional dragon attack! The largest city in Raven, is called Barovia, which is just north of Ravenloft Castle.

Beyond that, further to the west lay the Sembia Mountains, and the village of Skull Crag, a seedy less than desirable region,in the Kingdom of Raven, home to many the cutthroats, robbers, thieves and other ne'er-do-wells, nestled in the peaks of the Sembian Range. To the south slightly is a smaller but more heartless terrain, the DragonSpine Mountain range. And between these two ranges lies the small village of Cyruk(sy-rook) and beyond Cyruk, and the pass between these two ranges, lies Cormyr(kor-meer) forest. Cormyr forest is a safe haven, a virtual paradise amidst the vicious and brutal surroundings nearby. St.Cormyr, patron saint of warriors and trees, watches his home forest with a very discerning eye. He will allow no one to defile or ruin ANY forest but most of all his own home.

Moving just a bit more in a westerly direction, we find Cold Fields, where many a battle of honor and war of aggression, and other battles of different instances may have taken place. Valhalla may not have seen the numbers of fallen warriors that have laid down their lives for king and country. Many spirits wander these very cold fields, so cold in fact that on the hottest days of summer, u can still see your breath before your face, and the ice crystals can form on your beard.
The village that lies in the heart of these plains is called Dhebuik(de-bweek). It offers the road weary traveller the option of a hot meal, a strong drink,a warm bed and a good nights sleep, away from the spirits and ghosts wandering the fields.
steering you in a more northward direction, we eventually emerge from the cold of these fields, to the small port city of Marsember, nestled on the south shores of the Bay of Sidakh(she-dock). Here in the mostly Elven community, you can find the more exotic things, many potions and healing extracts ,and more of that type of thing.
As we leave Marsember, we will take another westward turn and approach the towns of South Gate and North Gate, each perched on either side of the mouth of the Bay of Sidakh, where they act as the sole guardians of the bay. Continuing on, we come to the sister towns of Tassledale, and Tasslehaven,on the western most coast of Emerikol, overlooking Safe Harbour.
Here the skilled elven craftsmen make many different things, working with silver and leather they create some of the finest elven armour in the entire land. Along with that they have many skilled guides who will hire out to many adventurers, helping them along their way on many a journey.

As we leave Tassledale(the more southern of the two towns), heading south following the coastline to Harrowdale, a modest fishin and farming village.
