Ends for Our Guys
Youngsters James Chua and Yeoh Kay Bin fall to South Korea Park Tae-Sang and Indian Gopichan respectively in the second round of Korean Open. Rashid, and Ewe Hock also made a disappointing show in the second show. Rashid lost to Indonesian Rony Augustinus in a 80 minutes game. (If you still remember, Rony is the guy who beat Ewe Hock last year at Hong Kong Open). Ewe Hock, returning after his hamstring injury, failed to play with his usual standard when he lost to Lauridsen. In men doubles, top pair Soon Kit-Tan Fook and Kim Her-Rosman reached the second round, while youngster Soon Theo-Cheh Chang and Jeremy-Chong Ming lost their first match and failed to proceed. |
