Andy Cole began his career as a trainee at Arsenal. He moved qucikly to the first team but played no league games there. He then went to Fulham on loan where he was lucky enough to play 13 league games. Bristol city liked what they saw and bought him for £500,000. Cole played 41 games with his new club before Newcastle United made an offer of £1.75 million which was accepted. After being a star at Newcastle and appearing in 69 games, Andy Cole's big break came in 1995 when Manchester United offered £6 million to join them. The offer was accepted and Cole has been a star at Old Trafford ever since. He is currently one of the most spectacular, and consistent goal scorers in the world and will be hoping to lead Manchester to the European Cup.
