LINEBACKER BLITZES
STRONG LINEBACKER BLITZ

The strong side linebacker must show that he is staying home and as soon as the ball is snapped he must blast. The weak side linebacker then cover the middle with run support from the corners. WEAK LINEBACKER BLITZ

*Opposite of the strong linebacker blitz. STRONG X BLITZ

The strong side linebacker must be quick, the strong side corner must watch the 3 hole gap and the weak linebacker must cover middle. WEAK X BLITZ

*Opposite of the strong x blitz. BOMB BLITZ

Both linebackers show nothing then blast at the snap. The corners must offer run support as soon as they read run. They must be able to read pass or run almost immediatly. CORNER BLITZES
STRONG CORNER BLITZ

The corner will slowly walk toward the line during the count then blast through the line at the snap. The strong side linebacker must cover the area that the corner has left. Therefore, the weak linebacker must cover the middle and the the opposite corner must pull up for run support. WEAK CORNER BLITZ

*Opposite of the strong corner blitz. CORNER BLITZ VS DOUBLE SPLIT

The ends must contain the backs, they cannot get to the outside. This is done the same way on the opposite corner blitz
