3-2-3 BLITZ PACKAGE

This is my blitz system. I am not much of a gambler, so you might feel that these blitzes are a little on the conservative side. I never stress the defense because it might give up the big play. The blitzes are designed to add to the pass rush while the pass coverage stays the same. I always monter my safety to take the key of the blitz. The blitzes can be devided up in three categories. The linebacker blitz, the corner blitz and the safety blitz. The linebacker blitz is the most common blitz. Here are several examples of linebacker blitzes.

Here are my corner blitzes. I have a "=" sign in the place I would do a "read" or "call" blitz. It is very important that the player is no more than 2 yards from the LOS before he shoots the gaps.

Here are my safety blitzes. The safety acts like a rover and can either blitz or just fake and drop.
