CVBC Mission Statement

The Cohesion Volleyball Club(CVBC) acknowledges that:

1. Volleyball is the second fastest growing participatory sport in the world.
   
2. Each player should be an ambassador for the sport.
   
3. Each team is entrusted with the responsibility of enhancing participation and enjoyment of the sport.
   
4. The true goal of any volleyball organization should be the advancement of serious knowledge, understanding and execution of the sport.

Therefore, the Cohesion Volleyball Club states that:

1. Continuous improvement of skill, strategy and chemistry is the primary team goal.
   
2. Skill improvement and participatory enjoyment are the primary individual goals.
   
3. Great effort will be made to associate those players more committed to a higher caliber of play with one another.
   
4. Practice and tournament play will be focused on the improvement of the abilities of all players associated with the CVBC.
   
5. Unlike high school, collegiate, state, national and professional teams, the CVBC is comprised of adult players who must pay to play. With this in mind, each player does deserve fair playing time. Furthermore, unlike the aforementioned teams which are directed by an independent coach, the CVBC is coached by its players. As such, the CVBC makes an effort to provide fair playing time, but emphasizes the successful execution of volleyball skills first and foremost.
