Year 2000, The Millennium Year will see two events instead of the normal one. Both will have the same format: A recruiting seminar n the eve of the weekend followed by two and a half days of games and pro camp style drills. All players receive a detailed written evaluation subsequent to the showcase and up to three letters of recommendation are written to colleges for players who req est them and it is mutually agreed that the player can play at colleges in question. The College Select Showcases are national in nature in that reports on players go to coaches all around the country. Last summers event saw players from 13 states in atte dance. No other showcase in the country can give the exposure that is given by the College Select Showcase Program. To be eligible for the showcases the player must be in the Class of 2001or later and submit a letter of recommendation from their high school coach and or pro scout. A maximum of 120 players are accepted at each event.
