Noarlunga United

Who the hell are Noarlunga United? Well that's a mighty good question, but here you'll find allyou need to know about the Under 17's which is the team I currently play for. This year we've been in top form and the league championship looks a strong possibilty.
Noarlunga United play in the South Australian Junior Soccer Association C League, which is South Australias third best league for Under 17's. Our home ground is at Wilfrod Taylor Reserve, which isn't exactly Wembly. In fact, the surface on our pitch is so bad it's more reminicent of a golf course bunker than a football
pitch. Anyway, it's all we've got so we have to live with it. Although it doesn't make for good football. Oh, and this season we have moved up in the world, we now have new shirts that are made by Puma, which we are all well chuffed at. They now look very similar to Lazio's home top.

Season '99

Season 2k:

Squad
Gareth Roberts, Ryan Beach, Michael, Ryan Maritz, Darren Smith, Rick Bridle, Adam Wise (c), Andrew Smith (vc), Adib Khalessi-Rad, Callum Skinner, Ryan Lack, Thomas Short, Jamie Behamer, Chris Hammett, Dennis O'Brien (Manager).

A lot different to last year, with a large majority of the team moving up to the under 19's. Andrew Smith, Adam Wise and a few others were faithful to the team though, and they will trying to go one better on last season's 2nd place in the league.
But it won't be easy, most of the new members of the team have been promoted from last years under 15 side, and are rather inexperienced and not as skillful as last years quality side. They've picked up a quality player in Ryan Lack, but, apart from that, will really struggle this season one feels. Wise and Smith will be as reliable as ever, providing Adam "Anderton" Wise stays fit and healthy.
