This Weeks Winner: The English National Side

It might just be coincidence, but since Alan Shearer has left the National side, they have gone downhill rather rapidly. After the fairly credible 1-1 draw with World and European champions France, they have lost at home to the Germans, and only managed to struggle to a goaless draw with a less-than-brilliant Finnish side in Helsinki. Now, if it wasn't for Big Al in Euro 2000, England would probably have finished bottom of their group, as it was the Newcastle striker who scored in the 1-0 victory, and I really can't see any of the other players getting their names on the score sheet in that game.
Of cource, most people will say it's just coincidence, but to me it's a rather happy one...

Every reek of the week winner walks away with absolutley nothing. In fact, they don't even walk here, so how they can walk away with anything, let alone nothing, is beyond me...
