Hitting

Before the 1996 season, Brady Anderson made a few modifications on his batting swing. He moved closer to the plate and cut down on his swing.

Apparently, it worked.

Anderson hit 50 home runs, drove in 110 runs, scored 117 times, had an OnBasePercentage of .396 and a Slugging Percentage of .637. His 50 homers were a new Orioles record and became only the 14th player in Major League history to hit 50.

This wasn't Brady's first great season though.

In 1995, he had a then-career-high 108 runs. In 1992 he became the first player in major league history to have 20 home runs, 75 RBI and 50 stolen bases in a single season.
