Ever had this dream? This is what all hockeyfans experience at least once in their lives!
Alas, not many of us are able to have a career in the NHL..No...we have to watch games and
root for our favorite players!
Ofcourse who your favorite is, is your opinion. Yet noone can deny that there are some who are better than others!
Does the name Wayne Gretzky spring to mind yet? What about Gordie Howe?
And where is Mario Lemieux? Not far behind. Neither are Marcel Dionne, Phil Esposito, Bobby Hull, Terry Sawchuck
Why are these guys so good? Just look at their numbers..amazing! But that can't be all!
They are true hockeygods. Just take Gordie Howe, whose carreer spans over four decades!
Look at Gretzky, who almost singlehandedly brought hockey to the attention of the big public!
Or at Lemieux, who battled several back injuries including cancer to come back and clinch several awards at the last two seasons.
It may sound sentimental but these men stand for something. A dream, which even Lord Stanley himself couldn't have dreamed all those years back.
