(last updated 27/5/97)

Alain Prost is not happy with Nakano, the second driver and he wishes that he should be changed with Jean Alesi, the present Benetton Renault first driver or with Damon Hill, the present Arrows first driver. But the team has a deal with the engine suppliers that if they want the engines to be supplied Nakano must remain in the team.

Olivier Panis is doing well with teh car and shoul sign other contracts to remain with the Prost Racing Team.

Olivier Panis in the last race, Spain, increased six points to the team constructor's championship by finishing second.
