The Cheetahs loose to the Hoopsters in a nailbiter....
It was a pathetic start by both teams. About ten minutes into the first half the score was only 4 to 4. Then the Hoopsters took control and a 6 point lead into the second half. They continued to prey on the Cheetahs lack of coordination, defense and offense and took there lead to 9 points. So a desperate move to save face was made, the cheetahs put all the big men in. Fortunately it worked, the Cheetahs rallied back and finally took the lead within the last two minutes of the game. Holding on to a one point lead the Cheetahs looked as if they were going to chalk up another victory.....BUT..... in the final seconds (15sec) the hoopsters went to the line and hit two foul shots to take the lead by one. With the score 30-29 and with 15 sec. on the clock the cheetahs brought the ball down and came up empty....
Final Score 30-29. So much for an undefeated season. Cheetahs 1-1 Stats unavailable. Next Game Monday January 26 @ 9pm Vs. the MAD COWS We'll milk 'em dry..
