Cooking is sooooooooo much fun. I also like to eat what I made too. Here are some fun things I like to make and some places to go to find more recipes to check out. Here this month we have our Peanut Butter Balls, Pizza Butter, all kinds of Popsicles, Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham and yummy Pretzels. If you have a yummy kids recipe to share send it to me and I will put it here and put your name by it!
Peanut Butter Protein Balls
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or
crunchy)
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup honey
graham cracker crumbs
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients except the graham cracker crumbs. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll in the crumbs and refrigerate. Makes 24. Great For Lunches.
Pizza Butter For Kids
1 pound butter
1 large can tomato paste
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a lid and store in refrigerator. This really is a good recipe. You can spread it on English muffins and put in either your toaster oven or oven at 350 degrees until done. Garnish with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, any thing you like, or just leave it plain. Another good way to have it, is in between two pieces of bread and grill like a grilled cheese sandwich. This is a really good way to serve it to your kids, because they cannot make such a mess. My kids loved it, they even ate the crust. Hope you enjoy it, I think it's awesome!!

Carefully lift each end across to the edge of the circle opposite it. Tuck ends under to seal. Place pretzels 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Stir together egg and water. Brush pretzels with egg mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seed, poppy seed, coarse salt, garlic salt or onion salt. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 17 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.
