Tsukino Usagi

This is Tsukino Usagi. She is your typical teen-age girl. She likes going to the mall, looking at cute guys, gabbing with her friends, and saving the world from the forces of evil. OK, so maybe she isn't exactly the typical teen-age girl, but she is the sailor-suited super-heroine Sailormoon.

She was given a magical locket by her guardian, Luna, a talking cat. The power of that locket transforms her into Sailormoon, the champion of justice. She is also Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom of the Silver Millenium. She was given the Ginzuishuo (silver crystal) so that she could defeat the forces of evil. She is sort of clumsy and very hard to get to accept responsibility. She is a true friend and always comes through when the going gets tough. She is very much in love with Mamoru, a young man who was her fiancee during the Silver Millenium when he was known as Prince Endymion. He has saved her several times by taking up the guise of his alter ego, Tuxedo Kamen.

They have a daughter together in the future named Chibi-Usa (translated as "little Usagi"), who comes to the present to save the future and become a Sailor Senshi. She uses the Ginzuishuo of the future to become Sailor Chibi-Moon.

Tsukino Chibi-Usa

This is Tsukino Chibi-Usa. They call her "little Usagi" for obvious reasons. She is more like Usagi than she really wants to admit. She first comes off like a spoiled brat, but she eventually learns to be more responsible. She doesn't really have much choice, since she becomes the youngest senshi, Sailor Chibi-Moon.

She isn't exactly the most powerful senshi. Her attacks usually just make the enemies mad, so the other senshi have to finish them off. She becomes a far more important part of the story when she is contacted by Pegasus, who gives her Crystal Carillion. Using it she can summon Pegasus, who gives Sailormoon a powered up attack so she can fight the evil monsters of the Dead Moon Circus. She becomes good friends with Hotaru (aka, Sailorsaturn) and they have a lot of fun just being kids.
