About the Author

Marcha Fox was born in New York state where she lived until her family moved to California when she was twelve years old. She met her husband, Gary, while in high school and after they were married, both became members of The Church Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They eventually moved to Utah where they lived until 1988. She has served in numerous leadership and teaching positions in Primary, Young Women, Relief Society and Sunday School, and also has served as a Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts, focusing primarily on aerospace-related topics. She is currently the Public Affairs Media Specialist for the Friendswood Texas Stake.

Sister Fox and her husband, both returned to college while their six children, then ranging in age from one to fourteen, were still at home. After graduating from Utah State University in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in physics, she and her family moved to Texas where she is currently employed as an engineer for a NASA contractor at Johnson Space Center in Houston. The favorite part of her job is working on console in the Mission Evaluation Room, a backup room to Mission Control, during space shuttle missions. She says she enjoys it because "it's fun and exciting to see and hear everthing first hand, then come home and see it on the news."

The grandmother of six and an avid genealogist, Sister Fox pursues research and temple work on an ongoing basis---not a small challenge with the nearest temple over two hundred-fifty miles away in Dallas. Creative writing has always been a significant interest for her also, and she is working on several projects including a young-adult science fiction tetralogy.

About the time that her two youngest children were preparing to graduate from Primary, she was introduced to the Imagication method by Brother Jerry McCulloch. "Everyone should know the Articles of Faith," she states, "but remembering which one is which can be difficult. This method worked so well for my family that it was worth sharing with others"

Unfortunately, Brother McCulloch died suddenly in 1995, shortly after "How to Memorize the Articles of Faith" was published by Horizon Publishers.

Sister Fox, her husband and their children who are still at home are members of the Friendswood Ward, Friendswood Texas Stake.
