Anyway... I'm putting some of my poetry here.
Most of it, I wrote when I was 9.

CANADA

Canada means friendship -- and Canada means love,
Canada means happiness -- and Canada means glad,
Canada is the mountains -- and Canada's the trees,
Canada is Mother Nature -- Canada is great,
Canada, Canada -- My home.

MORNING

When morning comes the birds are singing
Their music fills the air,
Smiling with the joy they're bringing
For everybody -- everywhere.

TIME

Time is something you cannot capture -
Something you cannot trap -
Time cannot be put away.
It just passes by - fast or slow.

THE LEAVES OF FALL

The winds of fall were blowing
The leaves from trees were flowing
I piled them up so high
They almost touched the sky

Then I jumped right into them
It was so much fun
Just as I was going to jump
I heard a thump

I turned around
And then I saw
That everyone was jumping
Into the leaves of fall!

SMILES

Smiles are special -- as special as a rose in bloom,
Smiles are bright -- as bright as the sun,
A smile is pretty -- as pretty as a flower garden.
If you make some one smile it will mean a lot,
When you smile it means you are happy.

SUCH A SCARE

Cleaning up is such a scare
It makes me stand right on my hair
If you were to see my room---
You ‘d jump from fear - high in the air.

YELLOW

Yellow is my favourite colour
Yellow - like the sun
Yellow - like a daisy
--- sol alive, yet quiet
I like the yellow of pollen
And yellow from a sunset
Warm, bright, hopeful yellow.

BUSY BEES

Busy, busy, busy bees
The children ran around the trees
The children ran around the trees
collecting pollen 1,2,3
Busy, busy, busy bees
The children were like busy bees.

FRIENDS

Fair
Real friends
Imagination
Ever friends
Never ending
Delicate
