El próximo mes de Junio se cumplirá un año desde que descubrí a los "ABBA". Y se puede decir que me ha dado fuerte... Aparte de que voy cantando, silbando o sonriendo canciones de ABBA durante todo el día, mi locura se ha convertido en un deseo de asimilación (sí, he visto Star-Trek) de esta cultura musical que estaba dentro de mí... 28 discos se acumulan en mis estanterías como tesoros más preciados y pienso seguir creciendo ;)
Next June, my discovery of "ABBA" will be one year old. And you can say that I'm a die-hard fan... Apart than I go singing, whistling and smiling ABBA songs all day, my insanity has become a wish of assimilation (yes, I have seen Star-Trek) of that musical culture that was inside me... 28 records are on my shelves as most precious treasures and I think about keeping growing up ;)
Pues sí, ABBA... Si me visitaste en el último mes, seguro que ya tienes esa versión de 'Dancing Queen' a capella... Yo pensaba que era una versión cantada por ABBA... Pues no del todo, si mis informaciones son correctas, "Dancing Queen: Versión A Capella" sólo incluye la voz de Frida como solista, mientras que las voces de apoyo y la percusión oral son de "The Real Group".
So, ABBA, If you visited me last month, sure you have that "A Capella version" of 'Dancing Queen'... I thought that it was a version sung by ABBA... Almost... If the info I have is correct, "Dancing Queen: A Capella Version" only includes Frida's voice as lead, while the backing orals and vocal percussion are courtesy of "The Real Group".

¡SÍ! 'Just Like That', ¡al fin! Parece que nunca una canción de ABBA había despertado tanta ilusión por una legión de fans de la buena música. ¿Qué será lo que encierra esta canción? ¿Cuál será el hechizo que nos hace suspirar por JLT?
YES! 'Just Like That', at last! It seems that never an ABBA song had waken up so much illussions by a legion of fans of the quality music. What would be what it's inside this song? What would be the charm that makes us sigh for JLT?
No puedo desperdiciar esta oportunidad para aportar mi propia traducción del estribillo de 'Just Like That' ^_^ Intentad cantarla y me contáis cómo suena, ¿vale? Perdonadme, pero no pude resistirme ;)

'Just Like That', haciendo un poco de historia, es una canción grabada por ABBA en los Estudios de Música de Polar el 3 de Mayo de 1982, mostrándonos un grandioso saxo, que es uno de sus mayores alicientes ^_^ No fue lanzada al mercado oficialmente por ABBA, pero ha circulado en numerosos CDs piratas o 'bootlegs', por lo que es ampliamente conocida por los fans de ABBA alrededor del mundo.
'Just Like That', making a long story short, it's a song recorded by ABBA at the Polar Music Studios on May, 3th, 1982, showing us a great sax, that it's one of the best features ^_^ It wasn't released officially by ABBA, but in a lot of 'bootlegs', so it's very well-known by the worldwide ABBA fans.
Por suerte, debemos dar gracias por la posibilidad que se nos dio de disfrutar esta canción en el disco IV del set de cuatro CDs llamado "Thank You For The Music"... Pero, eso fue 'Just a Notion' de la canción, y además no siguieron su propia filosofía de "Givin' a little bit more" ^_-
Lucky us, we may say thanks because of the possibility of enjoying this song in disc IV of the four CD set callef "Thank You For The Music"... But that was 'Just a Notion' of the song, and they didn't follow their own philosophy of "Givin' a little bit more" ^_-
Suficiente, ¿no? Una última advertencia antes de comenzar a bajaros la canción... Aunque todos comprobasteis la excelente calidad de sonido que disfrutaba la anterior canción, aquí, desafortunadamente, no sucede lo mismo... Esta grabación tenía mucho ruido, así que la he remasterizado un poco... ¿Cómo? Pues, usando Cool Edit 96, he sampleado el primer segundo que es casi todo ruido, y luego he aplicado una 'reducción de ruido'... Es todo lo que he podido hacer, y puedo asegurar que ahora se escucha muchísimo mejor que en el CD original...
Enough, or not? The last advice before beginning the download... Even all checked the excellent sound quality that enjoyed the last song, here, unfortunatelly, it's quite different... This recording had a lot of noise, so I remastered it a little... How? Well, using Cool Edit 96, I have sampled the first second that it's almost total noise, and then I have used a 'noise reduction'.. It's all I have been able to do, and I can assure you that it sounds a lot better than in the original CD...
Está comprimida en formato ZIP (versión 6.3 Beta), para mayor rapidez en bajárselo, y convertida a RealAudio 3.0 (22 KHz, 16bits y mono) que consigue una calidad de sonido muy buena ocupando poco espacio... Visita los siguiente vínculos en caso de que no poseas un decompresor de ficheros ZIP o no puedas reproducir RealAudio. (Créeme, los necesitarás cualquier día...)
It's compressed in ZIP format (version 6.3 Beta), so it could be downloaded more quickly, and saved as RealAudio 3.0 File (22 KHz, 16bits & Mono) that achieves a good sound quality without taking a lot of space... Visit the above sites in case you don't have a ZIP tool or if you can't play RealAudio files... (Believe me, you will need them anyday)...
