Snakes

I think snakes are really neat, but my Mom hates them, BIG TIME. I had a snake for a pet for 3 days and she made me get rid of it. I don't know why she hates them so much.

This is a rattlesnake. We have lots of them where I live in California. They have 2 fangs, triangle shaped heads, and rattles on the ends of their tails. They attack their prey by biting them and injecting venom. Then they swallow their catch whole. It is really kind of yucky to watch.

This is a red snake that is also poisonous. I forgot what it's name is, but stay away from them.

This is a yellow boa constrictor. Boa's kill their prey by squishing it to death. They can grow to be very very big.

This is me with a green lizard. Lizards are cool, they can lose their tails and grow back another to get away from their preditors. I like to catch lizards in my backyard. They are good guys and eat bugs.
