I got a real mountain bike last year. I enjoy not only the excercise, but also the scenery. Although my area has become more urban in the last few years, I still know a few good places that are still some fun. I ride a '95 GT Tempest. It is green, I could have gotten the polished looking silver but I am not the type of person to have a flashy bike. I thought about upgrading my bike so that it would have shocks and clipless pedals and other useless things at this point. I don't intend on going pro with the MTB, so I don't need to go crazy. I did however put toe-clips on my bike. I never really knew how much they could help. Now I can't ride without them.
