May 31, 1999 Colin has been home for a year and is a happy, well-adjusted baby, who loves to be cuddled and crawl all over his big brother and sister. He wears glasses and is "patched" 2-4 hours a day to encourage him to use his weak eye. Feeding continues to be a problem and Colin is receiving speech therapy to overcome behavioral issues associated with the long-term discomfort that he has come to associate with eating due to "silent" reflux that was only recently diagnosed. His favorite "thing" is dogs (his first word was "dug"), especially Marley, our golden retriever. Colin acts as if he's a toddler trapped in an infant's body and has recently mastered the art of climbing out of his high-chair! He crawls with a purpose, and pulls to a stand to cruise a bit. He is our tiny, but mighty little person and we are blessed to have him with us!
