Krazy Kinetic Art

Please sign my guestbook below! Don't forget to tell me about your own science sites!

Kinetic means "of, or pertaining to, motion". It's artwork in the shape of moving machines! Imagine balls, gears, cranks, pulleys, and all kinds of weirdness in motion. It's 3-dimensional! What could be better!

Here are kinetic sculptures from a recent on-line exhibition at the Cabaret!

The Cabaret is a "museum" in London with coin-operated and push-button wooden "machines". You'll like the man eating spaghetti in the bathtub, and the cat that drank too much milk. They also sell kits and videos! Visit them the next time you're in England.

Visit these other great links! And make sure to return to my page!

Here are very colorful, moving metal sculptures that resemble cartoons. Designed by Fredrick Prescott of Hawaii.

A large site by Bruce Salinger, artist extroridinaire. Great pictures of his metal creations in motion, complete with moving fleas! Buy one today!

This train is more than a train - it has a working fountain, marble tracks, a gondola and more! Built by Dale Emery, maker of the Gumball Gizmo machine, it is on display at a mall in Utah.

These small, intricate kinetic sculptures are made from wood.

Of course, if you haven't already seen my list of great sites related to Rube Goldberg projects, contests, inventions, and more, what are you waiting for?!?

I like to get mail! Please send me your ideas, comments and questions!
