type search - Cork County Irish Stew (that is where our Irish ancestors came from). I do not add Cabbage in my stew, since some of my kids do not like it. I make a seperate dish of "Cabbage and Bacon Bake". I also use a roast instead of lamb chops.

Irish Soda Bread

Green Shamrock Jello Jigglos on Green Lettuce Leafs
(Make Jigglos from recipe on back of Jello box and cut shamrocks from cookie cutter and place on beds of lettuce on small desert plates.)

Potatoe Soup
Boil red potatoes until tender. Drain, reserving 2 cups water. Add 2 cups milk and continue to cook for about 10 minutes. Add desired spices including salt, pepper and parsley. You can make this day before and refrigerate overnight. When reheating you will need to add more milk. We serve this as a first course.

Green Cabbage with Bacon Bake
I boil chopped cabbage til tender, then drain. Reserve 1 cup juice. I cook 1 pkg bacon til crisp. Add 1/2 of cooked bacon and grease to wok add Cabbage, reserved water and top with the other 1/2 of bacon. Heat for about 10 minutes. You can refrigerate over night in a casserole dish and heat in oven for 30-45 minutes.

Green Pea Salad ~ Drain 1 can of Peas, Dice and add 3 hard boiled eggs, chopped onion and salad dressing.Mix and refrigerate. I have to double this recipe for my kids!

Green Cake in the shape of a Shamrock

Green Pistachio ice cream, and

Green Punch -or- Sprite with a slice of lime!

KEY LIME CAKE

by Anne Odom
1 pkg. golden vanilla cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup key lime juice
1 1/4 cup water
few drops green food coloring

Put all liquids in bowl - add mix and beat real well. Bake 20-25 min. at 350 degrees.

Frosting

1 can Eagle brand
1 container Cool Whip
1 6 oz limeade (frozen defrosted)
few drops green food coloring
Blend with wire whisk. Do NOT beat.
Place on Top of cake and refrigerate
