MY POEMS

These are my thoughts and some are my feelings.

Please feel free to read them maybe they can influence you or help you get to know me better then you already do.

For those who already know me you now will be able to know what goes on in my head..lol..

Please feel free to come back new poems will be added as my mind wanders more.

first poem

Do you believe me when I say I love you?

Do you believe me when I say I can spend eternity with you?

I promise many things some which will be broken,

Only one thing I can promise that will never be broken is that I love you more today then what I did yesterday.

But not as much as what I will love you tomorrow.

second poem

Alas within the darkness one sits alone.

With sorrows on thy mind and hardships in thy heart.

Thou hast lived two decades of pain and sorrow.

For thou hast seen many deaths and many heartaches.

The time hast come for thee to rise from the darkness into the light.

For within thine heart hast the hardships fallen.

Now joy hast risen with in thine soul to live again and be bold.

third poem

We who live within the time of light, are those who have the happiness within all riches, and those who live within the darkness have the wisdom of the light for those were the ones who have lived in the light, but have cast themselves to the darkness

A lesson learned a lesson taught.....

I sat one night within a diner drinkin from a glass of tea..

A man sat beside me, all battered and worn down..

His clothes were ragged and torn, with the smell of filth bound in them ..

This man had no money of any kind..He asked a guy behind us to spare him some change but yet the man refused..

He turned to a women dressed in fine clothes that smelled of roses in bloom..She stuck her nose into the air and said to the man " I have no time to bother with someone such as you." The man looked at the woman and hung his head in shame..

A waitress approached him to ask him to leave, but yet he kept asking for some spare change...

Then the waitress asked this man who he was with, I stood up with a grin upon my face and stated to her that this man was with me...

The man looked into my eyes and smiled..

I looked at him and said to this man, order what you wish,this meal is on me...

He ordered his meal and enjoyed....

When he was finished he turned to me, with the greatest of all smiles upon his face, and as I sat on that stool, I came to learn that this man dressed in rags was the king of all kings..

fourth poem

A man the age of 25 walks into his house..

He is headed to a room of darkness except for a small light, plugged into a wall..

As he enters the room he sets his eyes upon his son in his crib..

The man walks up to the crib and leans over gently, kissing his child of gold upon the head..

As he stands over this child of grand, the only thought that enters his head, is that this is what he has lived for, for his past 25 years ..

And he will live for another 25 plus to see his child of riches grow to become a man of heart and soul..

fifth poem

Years ago in the valley of the deep.

One man roamed alone seeking out the life he once had but now has lost.

His search has carried him far and wide and led him to strange and beautiful places.

He has met people from afar but none who could help him with his journey.

For his journey is an endless one for the life he once had and loved has gone to a far from this earth way above high into the clouds.

But yet he travels in hope to find this life of his once more.

To enjoy this life which now lays within his dreams the life he had that a plague took away.

For this life was of his wife and child for who he will roam this world alone till the day he finally meets them and holds them in his arms.

sixth poem

As the time flies by us we never live.

Always in a hurry to go here or there.

Wouldn't it be nice to take time and slow down to enjoy the day?

Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to sit down and not have to worry about having to run?

This can be, but will it be? For that choice is your to decide.

seventh poem

To live free in the wind, to have the sight of an eagle, to soar through the air on soft tipped wings, to have the sun across your back and the ground miles below, is a wish of this insane or is it a wish at all?

eighth poem

Mmmm....For the time I have had all the good and all the bad within my heart and mind I will never forget the dance I had that one night beneath a star lit sky with in a park,For it was the greatest dance I have ever had and will ever have had.

She was and is the greatest one I have ever known for no one will ever replace her within my life.

That night was the night I held heaven in my arms,gazed within the greenest eyes that took me to another world.

That night will stay in my dreams and mind until the day I die..

ninth poem

To walk with the ones of pride.

To stand with the ranks of heros.

To have the light of the heavens glow from within you.

Ahh yes to be human and alive to make the changes for good.

This is what a hero does, not a special act just helping their fellow humans, with even the smallest of things..

tenth poem

From time to time I sit and wonder what went wrong.

Why was this line drawn between us?

Then I realize the line is there for what the past holds.

If I crossed this line would I loose it all? or would I gain what my heart desires?

To take this chance is to put my whole life as I know on the line.

Will I loose my mind,

Will I gain my soul?

This I will only know by one way and one way alone.

Yes I believe I will walk over this line and take this chance for if I do not then I will never know.

eleventh poem

I am from a place far far away where dreams and wishes are lost within the darkness of a place you will never find unless you too become lost within the darkness..

if you wish to dwell within this darkness then you are as much of a fool as I have become..

for this darkness will do to you as for it has done me...

insanity is from the darkness that dwells within a lonely heart..

twelfth poem

Dwellers of the light, and dwellers of the darkness take hands, and come forth for now it is time to combine within one, for this is the way to a new world, to a new life, to walk with hand in hand and be one with the one who watches us all

thirteenth poem

To the ways of old to the ways of new for ever lasting peace there must always be a smile on every ones face let your hearts flourish with love and your mind roll with new wonderful things you have done many things of joy to feel any sorrow do not let this make you nor upset you in any way only let it bring a smile to your beautiful and wonderful face a smile full of the light that shines down from the heavens above....

fourteenth poem

As I sit and reminisce the times of old I only seek hurt from within my soul for the life I haved lived is one of errors and mistakes descisions made wrong the pain grows within wanting to come out and show the weakness of a man that sits with a gloom upon his face as the thoughts roll through my mind I feel them burst from within my wrists my life dances around me the worst over the good for as the life drains from with in this body the guilt that lives slowly dies until not a breath not a beat not even a gleam within my soul

fifteenth poem

a life less lived is a life more dwelled..

a heart less loved is a heart of stone..

but yet a heart of pure love is a heart of gold as for a long life is a life less traveled...

whether your life be short or long explore it to the limits for a heart of gold is also known to be a heart that is wise..

sixteenth poem

To sit and wonder, and dream of all you have lost, is to dream of things yet to come, for nothing is lost only misplaced or unobtained.

For in your life you will seek out many things and recieve greater things than what you seek out.

We who sit and wait for time to show us the way are the ones who gain the wisdom needed to obtain the goal.

Those who fight time as it passes on by are the ones who only seek their deaths by not understanding what they are pushing away.

seventeenth poem

I sit alone in the darkness of my room, wishing to have someone to hold.

My loneliness engulfs my heart, the more I feel alone the less I feel alive.

My mind wanders and my heart suffers the reminiscing of a love that is strong inside of me.

Everywhere I look I am reminded of her, pictures on my wall, some of her things scatered about this room.

I love her more than anyone in my life, the time we spend apart is the time which kills my heart.

I know I am not alone but yet the feeling of being alone at night when I crawl into my bed not having her there to hold or cuddle with

Those times are the hardest for me, to look across my bed and see no one there.

My greatest desire and wish is to be with her, but not in the way others want to be with her.

To hold her and love her, to see her smile, to hear her laugh.

As I write this poem my heart grows cold of the loneliness from within, for this is a plea from one lover to another.

Please end this loneliness of mine, and take me in your arms, for this is all I ask and all I need.

eightteenth poem.

An Angel

Upon one summers morn I woke to see standing before me an angel of the heavens.

I knew she was an angel from the way her smile illuminated my eyes and face.

Her hair was as brown as the autumns eve when the trees begin to die for a rebirth.

Her eyes were like a summers breeze across the deepest sea.

Her voice was as sweet as a melody that played through my heart and soul.

Her touch was smooth as velvet.

She glowed with the love of the heavens.

In my lifetime I know the things I say and things I do will never matter but to her just my being alive matters and that sings the melodies of the heavens all through me.

For The One I Love

You are the light which shines in the corner of my eye..

The sun that wakes me in the morning..

You are my days dawning...

When I look into the moon I see your face...

The stars speak your name with such sweetness...

There is no way in this world to measure my love for you...

I hear your voice in my dreams speaking of great happiness...

To hold you in my arms is like the feeling a child receives from holding a teddy bear in their arms as he sleeps

To gaze deep within your eyes is to look within the pearled gates of heaven...

You are my life and light in this dark world..

I will love you for the rest of time and infinity to pass...

For you are my happiness,you complete me...

This is dedicated to the one I love; I have no need to speak her name for she knows who she is and will always be...

Da_Rose......Now how could I leave out the one who always agrees with me..lol..You have been a great friend and have listened to me when you needed not too -- for that, I thank you....

Meth....You been kewl man givin me quite a few laughs have enjoyed your friendship a great deal...

Wecha.....Now how can I leave you out bud your the wisest one of all I've met the quotes I have seen you collect and show to us all in open makes you a wise man and I am greatly honored to have you as a friend...

Shawna....You're a sweet girl and I am glad to have met you and become your friend for laughs we have now and more to come. Always keep a smile on your face...

Jenni24.....You have become a very good friend to me and Mid and truly grateful to have met you and be your friend and you most of all know if you ever need me you can always call upon me at anytime...

Ahhhh Carmen....you have been a great part in my life for the past few months. I am deeply grateful to have you as a friend and I can't wait to go to Tahiti....

Ummmm ... the rest of you know who y'all are I love you all from the bottom of my heart
