And a few days later Alyssa and her friends finally arrived on land, but they weren't in Atlantic City. They thought that the map was wrong but that could have not happened. They arrived in a very strange country, on a mysteryous island. Its people were about eight feet tall and they only wore black or brown clothes.
Everything else was black, including the sky. Only the sun was pink. The citizens of this island were ghosts, former human beings who died centuries ago. This was a ghost ccountry but Alyssa and her friends didn't know that, and they wondered if they should ask where they were.
And they did, but the only answer they received was "Leave or dye!"
Then all the ghosts that were around them circled them and kept saying "LEAVE OR DYE, LEAVE OR DYE!"
Suddenly, a very coarse voice interrupted the noise. It was the king of the ghosts who appeared. Everybody was silent, then a ghost offered himself to say what was going on there. After the ghost finished talking, the king said:"This is our island and you have no right to take it away from us!"
"Wait!" said Alyssa, but it was too late. The king made his decision and said: "They have to dye! We can't let them go free! They will tell their human friends about us and they will hund us. Humans have been our enemies for over one century now! Prepare the ropes and hung them!"
The king was just ready to tell his ghosts to execute the sentence when a little thin voice intrerupted. It was the king's daughter, Laura.
"Run Laura, they are our enemies!" said the king.
"But dad, they might be the three humans that grandpa told us about before he died. He said that t these humans will come and save us from ghostlife and the sky will be blue again, the grass and trees will be green, the sun will shine again, and we won't have to wear dark clothes anymore. remember?" said Laura.
Laura asked her father to let the humans live a few more days. So, the king gave them one more chance.
Five days passed by and Laura was right. Everything turned to normal and Alyssa and her friends were free. All the ghosts returned to human form, including the king. The king appologized to Alyssa and her friends and thanked them at the same time. Then he invited everybody to the scariest movie that could have been made on his island: "Full House". Then a very loud voice interrupted again and said "Alyssa, wake up, it's almost lunch time and you missed school again!"
Alyssa was dreaming .......or wasn't she? A postcard came under her door and here is it's message: "Thanks for helping us regain our human form and life! Goodbye from all the citizens of Horrory City, capital of the Strange Island."
