On February 6, we had quite a big day! Benjamin ran into the house and was yelling for me to come quick, Cocoa was screaming. Running out to the yard, I found that she was in labor. Cocoa, one of the babies from last year, had her baby at 9:30 am. A beautiful little girl that we have named Precious.
As I was getting cleaned up and making ready to go to the grocery store, my husband came in and got me because there was something "wrong" with Mimi, another of the babies born last year. Mimi was in labor. We had a difficult time with her, but mom and baby did fine. Mimi gave birth to a beautiful little girl, at 1:30 in the afternoon. What a day!!!
Thinking we were done with babies, to our surprise, Sundae, the twins' mom from last year had her baby on Saturday, February 8, 2008. Another girl! Her baby is brown with a little white stripe on each side. We named her "Cookie".
What a busy week we had! All three of our babies are doing well and growing way too fast. All the moms are doing quite well with their kids.

On Saturday, February 24, 2007, my goat, Sundae, became a new mother to twins. They were born at 7:50pm (Prince William) and 8:05 pm (Mimi). I am thrilled with my little loves already. Sundae is a great mother. This was her first pregnancy. I am not sure if we will go through this again, as it was a bit stressful. I will say, though, that the babies are worth all the trouble. They are so sweet. Already, both come right up to me when I enter the stable where they are housed.
