my family

My family of course, are the most important people in my life. I thank God for blessing us with good health, and for the wonderful times that we have had together.

Just for the record, basically my immediate (what exactly is the definition of 'immediate' anyway?!) family consists of my dad, mum, younger sister, Rachel and my dog, Musky. (I shall take 'immediate' as meaning those who live with you and whom you actually regard as relations) I have two grandparents still living. I personally think that though horribly naggy, they are wonderful people.

Rachel is sec 4 in 2002, in rgs too. She is quite an irritating but smart kid. Apart from the fact that she does fantastically well in school and is half a head taller than me, I really have no resentments towards her. She leads a fulfilling life that consists of the internet and the tv. Despite all this, she is a quite big time mugger. As you may expect, I am frequently annoyed by her, but she is mature for her age and thus we are pretty close and we do get along. Musky, is getting old but he still thinks he's a puppy. He bites his family and barks at strangers, particularly those of the darker race. He looks quite handsome when he is furry, but becomes quite sparse and unattractive after the seasonal bi-annual 'shearing'. My parents pretty much let me do what I want. I haven't exactly ever had a curfew, and they trust me enough to take care of myself, without bugging me with calls every 15 mins if I should not be home by 10 or something. My parents basically live by the "i'm-not-gonna-stop-you-from-touching-the-fire,-u-go-touch-it-and-learn-your-lesson" principle. And my dad's the funky daredevil kind that dares me to take the topgun rollercoaster thingies, so not exactly any over-paranoia or concern for my safety and well-being either. haha. We used to go for bicycling or trekking trips to explore the neighbourhood and the ulu places, and he likes bringing our family to these funny island resort places which are super cool lah. My mum has got a wardrobe 3 times the size of mine and currently prides herself on having picked up the game of golf. Although I think that she is quite a happening career woman, she still seems to have alot in life to complain about.....
