Thanks for visiting my poetry page. I may be changing the layout soon, because i dont' have enough room for all my poems. And remember to RELOAD/REFRESH if this is a revisit. You'll also find other things beside poetry, like quotes or just thoughts. All of this is my writing and may not be taken, unless it is otherwise noted as someone elses property. I hope you enjoy. And my poems may not be the best, but I just try to explain my feelings and to me that is true poetry. If you have any poems you would like to post here, you can e-mail me at sky05@hotmail.com or if you have comments/suggestions you can email me them. Oh yeah and when I update this page the updates will probably be found at the bottom, so if it looks the same to those of you revisiting just keep on scrolling.

Also if you got here by a webring please visit my main page and check out the other stuff on my site and please SIGN the guestbook or the message board. It's appreciated.

Forever Crushed
She walks alone,
down a crowded street.
No one reaches out for her,
like she wants them to.
They let her pass by,
without a care in their heart.
They don't know that inside,
she is falling apart.
The pieces scatter here and there,
but she doesn't pick them up.
She leaves them there,
to be trampled upon.
Crushed, like the dreams,
she once had.

Eternally Yours
You walk down the street,
and casually bump into me.
I think maybe he wants to talk to me,
and fake an accident,
but you just mumble an apoligy,
and continue on your way.
Blindly walking through the crowds of people,
in the opposite direction of me.
You soon get lost within the gathered crowd.
I can't find you.
All i find is a tatterd soul and lost hope.
Nothing to help me or ease my pain.
With each step i take i feel worse and worse,
until i can't tak it anymore.
I am eternally yours.
(i sent that one into TEEN magizine. keep you posted on that)

Unknown
They think they know me,
They don't.
They hear one story,
and believe every word,
realizing that's not the real me,
doesn't come to them.
They don't know the person inside,
Just the one I seem to be.

Taken Away
The power pulls at me,
beckoning me,
clawing at me,
pulling me down,
until I hit the floor,
and I am all alone.

No One's got Someone
You're my love,
my everything,
but you don't even know, i am here.
your beautiful eyes,
loving smile,
doesn't go towards me.
i love you with all my heart,
and i long to be near you,
but you have someone,
who isnt' me.
I have no one,
who is you.

Guardian Angel
She watches over me,
both day and night.
I never see her,
but someday might
When I turn on my light,
she darts quickly away
and subtley lets me know,
everthing is okay.
Sometimes late at ngiht,
I hear her wings beat,
and I know someday we may meet,
Though she already knows me,
she's watched me grow old,
but there is som much beauty of her,
that I wish to behold.
I am so thankful,
that she watches over me,
and helps me be the person,
that I long to be.
To my guardian angel,
i say only this,
please always keep this,
this gentle kiss.

My Own Thoughts (not poems just little things)

The blind features of yesterday, are tomorrows dreams.
If it's the little things that count why are ourt hearts so big.
The glow of the moon hides all the world's glory, the sun hides nothing.
The man with no face is most attractive to me.
The features we hate are what makes us beautiful.

MORE POEMS
Untitled
They never knew which road to follow,
They never knew which way to go,
They just drifted down the continuous river,
in whatever direction it would flow.
They can never leave the river,
for it holds everything that they own,
and all the things that they've never known.

Untitled
If the bird flies North,
I go South.
If I go North,
the bird goes South.

Human? (I got this one published)
To be called human,
is the worst thing to be called.
You get certain characteristics,
like love, sincerity, and passion,
but along with human,
comes the flaws.
Jealousy.
Greed.
Hate.
To be human,
Is to take those downfalls,
I am not human,
and never intend to be.
I am only a being,
that wanders this Earth,
with love in my heart,
and a tear in my eye.

Alone
Crowds of people are scatterd around me,
I cry out for help,
Not one answers,
They go on with their normal life,
Unaware of my problems.
I am alone in this.
No one cares to help me through.
They ignore me.
They pretend i don't exist.
They go on walking by,
to absorbed in themselves to worry about me,
I am human, just like them,
yet, they refuse me.

Quotes by others
-"The human heart feels things the eyes cannot see, and knows what the mind cannot understand." Robert Valett

-"Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts" Charles Dickens (Great Expectations)

Am I to critical or just honest with myself? (that one is mine)

-"Trust thyself, every heart vibrates to an iron string"- I think that is from Ralph Waldo Emerson

-"To be great is to be misunderstood."-Henry David Thoreau (not positive)

-"Nothing is at last sacred, except the integrity of our own minds"- Emerson

*NOTE: Some of the poems that I would consider my better ones, I don't post. This is mainly due to the fact that some parents might not want their kids reading some of the stuff I write about, so in respect to them, I won't post it. I want to keep this site open to kids and adults, anyone who wants to see it really.

I will be added more poems in time, but this is it for now.
