Everywhere We Go

Everywhere we go
People want to know
Who we are
And where we come from
So we tell them
We're from (name of unit or camp)
Mighty, mighty (name of unit or camp)
And if they can't hear us
We'll shout a little louder

(After you can't get any louder, replace "We'll shout a little louder" with "Well that's just too bad!")

Oh-Ma-Na

I have absolutly no clue on how to spell the words to this song so as usual, I am making up the spellings. Everytime you sing this song you start out by tapping on finger on your palm. You keep repeating it and each time add another finger to tap. As you repeat it, you also pick up the pace and the volume of the singing. Speedy Gonzales taught us this song this summer.

Oh-ma-na, oh-oh-oh
Oy-ye-kumundo-ye
Ah-ke-nada-poy-ye-da-da
Dama-nu
Ah-poy-ye-da-poy-ye-du

The Umbrella Song

To sing this hiking song, you must jump around a bit too. Count off to your marching up to 8. When you hit 8, you touch your head when you say "A hat," touch your feet when you say "A shoe," and twirl your finger in the air when you say "An old umbrella." Then you jump forwards, backwards, spread your legs apart and then put your legs together when the words tell you to.

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
A hat, a shoe, an old umbrella
Forwards, backwards, side, together

Yo, Campers

Domino taught me this song when I was a CIT in 96

Yo, campers
You cute, cute campers you
Marching down the avenue
One more mile and we'll be through
Left, left; You're left, right, left
Your left, your right, now pick up the step
Your left, your right, your left

Yo, Brownies
You bouncy, bouncy brownies you….

Yo, Juniors
You jumpy, jumpy, juniors you….
