Music Playing: "O Holy Night"
Welcome to ZooMom's Christmas Cage

Christmas is a special holiday for Christians all over the world. It is a time to  celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on
December 25. It is, for many, a season of love, warmth and joy.
We exchange gifts with our family and friends to help celebrate this special time in the Christian calendar. There are parties, family gatherings, special worship services, the singing of Christmas carols and much fun! It is also a time when many people try to perform charitable acts for others who are less fortunate. The Christmas season (this year) officially begins on November 28, 1999, on the first Sunday of Advent.
Advent is a Latin word which means"the coming".
It is a time to celebrate light in the midst of darkness.
In many churches and in homes, Advent is observed by the lighting of a candle, and a special reflective prayer. The first candle is lit on the first Sunday of Advent. This is the candle of HOPE. The second candle is lit on December 5th, the second Sunday in Advent. This candle represents LOVE. The third candle is lit on December 12th; this candle represents PEACE, and the fourth candle is lit on December 19th, and represents JOY. Keep Jesus in your heart all year, and help your neighbors all year long, not just at Christmas.

This Christmas season, I wish you Hope, Love, Peace and Joy!
