You come from the main meadow to see a shabby corner. A griffon-y creature comes out. "You may have met TopTail, me, or LittleTail, my annoying little sister. You mmay have asked us what a Hawati is. Here is more about our species."

They are a creature with hawk heads. We have excellent night and day vision and can smell well. The way to tell females from males is that females have lion bodies and males have wolf bodies. Hawati both have wings on the back and retractable claws. Some hawati shapeshift, other use magic, and very, very few can do both. They are small. Hawatis are easily scared by bigger creatures like Hork-Bajir and Andalites. Hawatis live in hut/houses of trees with holes as an entrance. They will attack almost anything if the creature destroys the hut or trys to kill him/her. We live alone most of our lives and live to be 300 tops. We can't see 'till 5 years old. Then we leave our family. Hawati eat rodents. They are sensitive when a good friend dies. They usually perform a ceremony where they remember him/her best. Big Fact : WE ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY HATE WATER. When they are mad, their eyes blaze yellow. They usually are a dark color and golden, orange or brown-red eyes. Our wings are pure white or a dark brown. Also, TopTail and LittleTail are the last of their kind. The ONLY way to kill the Hawati completely is to burn their body with fire and then drop it in water. Every times ahawati dies another way, their soul is passed onto another body, but the real owner is still there.
That's all I have now. Back to the Meadow
