Class of 2005, Lincoln

  The Class of 2005 at Lincoln was my first class that I had for an entire

  year. It was also my first year of teaching with a contract. We had an

  enjoyable time learning the fifth grade curriculum together, getting to

  know each other, and spending a muddy three days at Camp Swatara! It was

  Mrs. Horst's last year of teaching music before she retired and

  Ms. Hocker's first year in Art. There were both good times and bad,

  although the good times were far more numerous and memorable. This was

  also the first class that had the opportunity to e-mail their teacher.

  I will remember my first class as a diverse group of young people who

  have a great deal of potential to accomplish anything.
